The SoundBrick series builds on the innovative designs, cutting-edge technology, ease of use and high quality of our AutoLoader (message on hold) and SoundMaster (in-store broadcasting) lines, and adds a new modern package and other enhancements. Just as the AutoLoader and SoundMaster won out as the industry standard for professional messaging in the 1990's, so too does the SoundBrick series raise the bar and establish a new messaging standard for the year 2000 and beyond.

Each SoundBrick incorporates all the features and capabilities of the particular AutoLoader or SoundMaster model it replaces, and also brings the following improvements:
Case Redesign - The SoundBrick's fresh, modern design makes it the best looking case we have ever seen. Each model is available in four different colors, two solid (pewter and ultra-black) and two translucent (clear and light blue). You won't be able to really appreciate this new case until you actually get one in you hands. Call for a case sample today!
New Tape Deck - The new tape deck uses a side-loading motorized tape drawer, which slides open and closed at the touch of a button, like the CD drive on a computer. The deck has an integrated shock clip that locks the tape securely into the drawer, allowing the SoundBrick to be mounted in virtually any orientation-even upside down-without the tape falling out.
Weight & Feel - The overall weight of the case has been increased by the use of a steel base plate ( or glass-filled plastic on some models), giving the unit an increased "heft." This additional weight and lower center of gravity give the SoundBrick a more solid, substantial feel.
Multi-layer PC Card - The multi-layer printed circuit card design allows isolated power and grounding circuits to be run in separate "sandwiched" layers, thus allowing for shorter trace runs. These shorter trace runs produce less RF radiation, which improves audio quality and signal-to-noise.
Memory - The SoundBrick is designed to take higher-density memory. In the near future this will allow storage times of over one hour. Currently 2MB flash memory is used, soon a 4MB low-voltage flash memory will be available and allow extended audio storage capacity.
User Interaction - The SoundBrick incorporates a more pleasing user interface with easy-to-read embossed LED status indicators, positive touch-feedback style embossed keyboard (if equipped), clearly labeled input/output jacks and controls, and multi-position wall mounting holes built into the base plate.
